Setting up a business can be scary yet exciting.

Many people don’t even consider creating their own business as they either think that don’t have the money to get it started or believe they don’t have the skills to be successful.

Two important things i have learnt over the last 10 years.

  1. You can set up a business with very little expense and invest more into it as you earn money.
  2. We were all created with a talent and a gift, it’s just a matter of finding it and working out what your purpose is.

In this article, I want to share with you the steps you need to do to start your own business.

The steps.

1.Write down all the skills and experiences you have. Include any courses you have completed.

2.What are your qualities (personal characteristic’s) How do your friends normally describe you?

3.If you could click your fingers and be running a successful business, what would it be? Do you have a hobby you would rather be doing every day? What do you have a passion for? Write them all down.

4.If you have a business idea then write down your vision here.

5.Do some market research, talk to your family and friends about it. As a few questions to your mums/ dads group, jump onto facebook and ask. Look at similar businesses that are local to you.

6.What would be your business goals and how much income do you want to generate per month from it.

7.Choose a business name- make sure your name is available by doing a business name, domain name, and facebook business search. Go ahead and register them.

8.Decide what business structure you want (sole trader/ partnership/company/trust) and if you want to register for GST straight away.

20.Continue to work on your content, products/ services each week and show up to network daily if you can in facebook groups and other networking groups. Remember to send out regular newsletters at least monthly as well. Doing this will keep you gaining, new and repeat clients.

In Summary
